This is a vintage Saltillo serape blanket poncho, probably dating to the 1960s.  It appears to be made of 100% cotton.  It measures 34” wide by 80” long, exclusive of its 5” fringe at either end.  Lovely colours on this piece - striking red, with ombre striping in tones of purple, blue, orange and yellow and a centre motif in colours of olive green, white, orange, black, yellow and brown.  In very clean condition - a tiny bit of wear at the ends of the opening, very minor.  Attractive poncho - one size, should fit all…..
